The Barkery and Brews – Bangalore, Karnataka
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by The Barkery and Brews (“Service Provider”), including but not limited to pet boarding, daycare, grooming, hydrotherapy, transportation, and related pet care services.
By availing any service, the pet owner (“Owner”) agrees to be legally bound by this Agreement.
2.1 Services are operated in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including:
2.2 The Owner confirms compliance with all applicable pet ownership regulations, including vaccination and licensing requirements.
3.1 Pets must be healthy, non-contagious, and fit for boarding or daycare.
3.2 Mandatory vaccinations (with valid proof):
3.3 Pets must be dewormed and under active tick/flea prevention.
3.4 A mandatory temperament/orientation assessment is required prior to onboarding.
3.5 The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse admission based on health, age, or behavior.
4.1 Geriatric pets may be declined due to the active nature of the facility (exceptions may be made case-by-case).
4.2 Pets with severe aggression or handling intolerance may only be accepted with the Owner present.
4.3 Certain breeds (e.g., brachycephalic breeds) may be restricted from swimming unless certified fit by a veterinarian.
5.1 Operational hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
5.2 Strict adherence to check-in/check-out timings is required.
5.3 Boarding is calculated on a 24-hour cycle with a 2-hour grace period.
5.4 Delays beyond the grace period will incur additional daycare charges.
6.1 Owners must provide:

7.2 Add-ons or extensions must be prepaid at the time of request.
7.3 A non-refundable booking deposit may apply.

8.1 Pets will be fed according to the in-house curated meal plan.
8.2 Owners may provide special diets at their own risk.
8.3 Boarding includes meals as per the nutritionist-approved diet chart.
8.4 Additional meals/snacks will be chargeable.
9.1 Pets undergo hygiene checks at check-in, during their stay, and at check-out.
9.2 Pets with ticks or fleas will receive mandatory treatment at the Owner’s cost and may be isolated if required.
9.3 The facility maintains strict sanitation and anti-parasitic protocols.
9.4 Owners are strongly advised to maintain preventive treatments (e.g., Bravecto/spot-on).
10.1 The facility operates leash-free open play zones; outside designated areas, pets must remain leashed.
10.2 Minor injuries (scratches, bruises) may occur during social play.
10.3 Pets with behavioral concerns may be isolated at management’s discretion.
10.4 Owners must disclose all behavioral history.
10.5 Non-disclosure may result in termination of services without refund and may lead to legal action.
11.1 Owners must disclose the last heat cycle date.
11.2 Necessary supplies must be provided by the Owner.
12.1 Basic first aid may be administered without prior notice if required.
12.2 Owners will be informed immediately.
12.3 If the Owner is unreachable, the Service Provider is authorized to seek veterinary care.
12.4 All associated costs (including transport) shall be borne by the Owner.
13.1 Pets are boarded entirely at the Owner’s risk.
13.2 The Service Provider shall not be liable for:
13.3 The Owner is responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet (excluding normal wear and tear).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.
The Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
16.1 Pets not collected within 7 days without communication will be deemed abandoned.
16.2 The Service Provider reserves the right to rehome the pet or hand it over to relevant authorities.
17.1 Updates will be shared between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
17.2 No after-hours calls or WhatsApp support will be available.
17.3 In case of emergencies, the Service Provider will proactively contact the Owner.
18.1 A maximum of 3 personal items (excluding essentials) is permitted.
18.2 The Service Provider is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
20.1 Session duration: 2 hours (includes 45–60 minutes swim time)
20.2 Includes rinse and drying (not a full bath)
20.3 No feeding at least 2 hours prior to the session
20.4 Not suitable for all breeds; restrictions apply
20.5 No refunds for unused session time
20.6 Owners are responsible for assessing suitability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any delay or failure due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics.
22.1 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
22.2 No refunds for early check-out or last-minute cancellations.
22.3 Any partial refunds are at the sole discretion of management.
The Owner grants permission to the Service Provider to use photographs or videos of their pet for promotional or social media purposes unless explicitly declined in writing.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

27.1 The Owner acknowledges that pet boarding, daycare, grooming, and social play environments involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
27.2 The Owner voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation in these services.
27.3 The Owner hereby waives, releases, and discharges The Barkery and Brews, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any liability for:
